The Warhawk Way is the Daleville High School student mentoring and advocacy program developed by the faculty and staff of DHS.
The purpose of The Warhawk Way is to create a formal structure whereby each student is well known by at least one adult advocate in the school who supports that student’s educational experience.
The goal of the Daleville High School Mentoring/Advocacy program is to build relationships that empower our students to prepare for their future endeavors. Whether working toward a goal of entering the workforce, the military, or continuing their education, our program will work to prepare them in moving toward these outcomes. Our mentors will help our students navigate through the high school years, nurture a college or career aspiration, and build critical skills that lead to success. In addition, this program will also improve the academic achievement, self-esteem, and social competence of the students at Daleville High School.
